Clarity is hard to find
when you're inside the problem.
I'm a therapist who attends to both the details of what you're going through and the larger patterns underneath — and helps you put words to things that have been hard to name. I work with adults navigating neurodivergence, religious deconstruction, relationship dynamics, career alignment, and questions of identity and belonging.
Get in touchNeurodivergence
Whether you're navigating ADHD, autism, or another neurodivergent experience, the standard frameworks were often built for someone else. We focus on understanding how you actually think and move through the world — and build from there.
Religious deconstruction
Leaving a belief system — or staying inside one while losing confidence in it — is an identity crisis, a philosophical problem, and a social disruption, all at once. This kind of work takes time, and I'm comfortable sitting with the uncertainty alongside you.
Personal & professional relationships
How we show up at work and how we show up in relationships are rarely as separate as we'd like. I help people get clearer on what's actually happening in their relationships — the dynamics, the roles, the things that keep playing out — and figure out how they want to navigate them.
Career fulfillment & alignment
When work feels hollow, misaligned, or just off — but you can't quite name why. I help people examine what they actually want from their professional lives, what's getting in the way, and how to think more clearly about what a meaningful direction might look like.
Asian American identity
Navigating cultural expectations, family dynamics, and questions of belonging that don't map neatly onto either American or Asian frameworks. I bring both personal experience and historical context to this work.
Queer identity & belonging
Questions of identity, community, coming out, and what it means to belong — including the particular complexity of holding queer and religious or cultural identities at the same time.

Therapy as rigorous thinking, not just processing.
I trained in marriage and family therapy and have spent over 10 years working across child and family clinics, schools, adult outpatient centers, in-home care, and private practice. That range of settings shaped how I think about people — in context, in systems, not in isolation.
I work with adult professionals, people in the creative industry, advocates, entrepreneurs, executives, those in the helping professions, and Asian Americans navigating racial, ethnic, spiritual, and professional identity. I'm drawn to working with people seeking growth and healing from difficult family histories, institutional religion, racial discrimination, and the other systems that leave marks.
I draw from CBT, ACT, Restoration Therapy, Brainspotting, Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and psychodynamic/psychoanalytic approaches — and use what actually fits you, not a one-size framework. No two people are dealing with the same thing in the same way.
Background.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Brainspotting practitioner, and clinical supervisor based in Los Angeles and Pasadena, California, with over 10 years of experience across a wide range of clinical settings — from child and family clinics and K–12 schools to adult outpatient centers and private practice.
I've worked with children, families, adults, and couples from diverse socioeconomic, racial, ethnic, religious, and spiritual backgrounds. That breadth of experience informs how I think about people: in context, shaped by their histories and the systems around them.
This is my second career. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in strategy and operations consulting — and I draw on that background when it's useful, particularly around how people navigate professional identity, organizational dynamics, and decision-making under complexity.
I consider it a genuine privilege to be part of someone's growth. I'm queer and Taiwanese American, and I bring my whole self into the room — including my own ongoing work in therapy. I read a lot, think about problems for fun, and live with my partner and our pug, who has strong opinions and no interest in self-reflection.
Style & modalities
My style is direct and curious. I draw from talk, body-based, and structured approaches — using whatever combination fits where you are and what you're working on.

I am an out-of-network provider. I can provide a superbill if you'd like to seek reimbursement through your insurance. If you're not sure what your out-of-network benefits look like, I'm happy to walk through what questions to ask your insurance company.
